Ferris Bueller's Day Off Work - the Shenanigans of Ferris, Sloane and Cameron, Attorneys at Law
The structure of the program was divided into four short scenes: (1) the UMC hearing and request for continuance; (2) a flashback to a car crash involving Cameron's father's Ferrari; (3) Sloane's impersonation of a police officer and conflicts of interest that arise, a short transition scene where Cameron and Ferris are discussing subpoena's served on Cameron seeking a host of records that were not relevant and Ferris's insistence of objecting to everything requested and engaging in obstructionist misconduct, and (4) the deposition scene where the non-party witness - the Sausage King is being deposed and improper objections are made at the deposition. The focus of the program was to teach members about the ethical obligations required when communicating with the Court, how to engage with unrepresented parties, abusive discovery tactics including serving and responding to subpoenas for records, and, finally, whether an attorney can object during a non-party witness deposition.
