The Princess Bride Storybook Law
Our program was an adaptation of the classic novel and film, The Princess Bride. The program focused on a marriage contract signed under duress and related issues including lawyer advertising, fee sharing, mediator responsibility, and professional conduct. The program was performed live with an in-person audience and simultaneously streamed to a virtual audience attending via Zoom. Two of the main characters engaged the live and virtual audiences by posing thought-provoking questions for discussion. All graphics used (ie. yelp review, business cards, website, video of characters in sailing "ship") were designed and created for the program. Also, lyrics from the movie soundtrack song "Storybook Love" were rewritten for the program and included in the playbill.
