Tim Coleman Scholarship

Tim Coleman was an enthusiastic, active and engaged member of the American Inns of Court Board of Trustees. He had a particular interest in our international programs, and committed his support to the pilot of the National Advocacy Training Program. Sadly, we lost Tim before he could see the success of the program. The American Inns of Court is proud to provide this training to a new generation of attorneys who will carry on the traditions of courtroom advocacy, something which Tim felt was a crucial skill.

We are eager for a diverse group of attorneys to experience this superb opportunity to enhance advocacy skills in an exceptional training environment. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer honors Tim Coleman’s memory by sponsoring one scholarship for a new lawyer to attend the NATP.

The scholarship includes complimentary registration, transportation (economy class), and lodging for the recipient.  The scholarship does not include incidental expenses, such as meals that are not provided as part of the program activities.
