What do we do?

American Inns of Court bring lawyers, judges, and law students together in an environment intentionally structured to maximize mentoring, education, and develop professional relationships. New attorneys learn from more senior attorneys, lawyers and judges interact, and opposing counsel come together.  

Why is this important?

The rule of law is fundamental to our democracy and our way of life. Public support of and respect for our legal system is critical to the rule of law. As lawyers and judges, we are individually and collectively responsible for our profession and how the public perceives and respects our legal system. Our shared focus on professionalism, ethics, civility, and excellence betters our profession and builds respect for our legal system and the rule of law. 

You can help elevate the legal profession and our commitment to the rule of law by:

• Contributing to our Randy J. Holland Pegasus Scholarship Endowment, a professionally rewarding, life changing experience exchange program for junior Inn members to live and work in London to learn about the English legal system.
