About the Event
The Inns of Distinction Gala recognizes high performing American Inns of Court from across the nation that have achieved excellence in Inn management and programming. Inn leaders will gather at the Supreme Court of the United States to celebrate their accomplishments in advancing professionalism in the legal community through exemplary Inn programming and meaningful member engagement.

Consider joining your fellow Inn leaders and guests for a Dutch Treat Dine-Around. This optional and informal event will be organized and led by a member of the American Inns of Court staff. Those who opt in to this event will gather at The Edgar Bar & Kitchen, the lobby bar at The Mayflower hotel for a beverage of your choosing before walking a short distance to a nearby restaurant. While all costs for the event are borne by the attendees, registration is required.

& America 250 Program Contest Reprisal
Join your fellow Inn leaders over breakfast and see a shortened reprisal performance of the award-winning program from our America 250 Program Contest. This inspiring event will be followed by casual conversations with your fellow Inn leaders about Inn strategic planning, program development, mentoring and more. While registration is required, this optional breakfast event is included in your registration and kicks off at 8:00 a.m. at our headquarters hotel, The Mayflower, Washington DC.

The Inns of Distinction Gala at the Supreme Court of the United States
The gala is a black-tie event that begins with indoor photos for those who arrive on time, followed by a cocktail reception in the East and West Conference rooms of the Supreme Court of the United States. The dinner and a recognition program will be held in the Great Hall. This event recognizes Inns that have achieved Platinum distinction in the 2025–2026 Achieving Excellence program as well as Inns receiving 2026 Program Awards. Limited seats remain—Register Now!
