The American Inns of Court is the oldest, largest, and fastest growing legal mentoring organization in the United States.  The Inns provide law students and recent law school graduates with the opportunity to meet and work with seasoned attorneys and judges.

USF has its own Inn of Court, with approximately 80 members, who include law students, recent graduates, law firm associates, law firm partners, city attorneys, public defenders, district attorneys, and judges.  The Inn meets monthly to offer programs that develop and hone litigation skills.  The Inn meets at the USF campus several times a year, while other meetings are held at various law firms.  Each program is usually followed by a dinner.  Lawrence Kern of The Law Offices of Kern, Noda, Divine and Segel is the current USF Inn president.  Some of the Inn's distinguished members include California Court of Appeal Justice Larry Kay (Ret.), San Francisco Superior Courts Judge Susan Breall, and USF School of Law Dean Jeff Brand.
